Phina and Stella greeted me with warm smiles and hugs, they served me delicious meals and drinks, they cleaned my room and did my laundry every day. Chantell, site manager, also went out of her way to make my daughter-in-law’s birthday special by surprising her with a cake and a song. They treated us like a family member – an Umndeni.
- The professionalism. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise of the guides at Umndeni Game Lodge. The staff was knowledgeable about the wildlife and the terrain. Dawyn is the professional guide and operation manager. He seems to know everyone in the area and we took full advantage of this. When we had a wish, Dawyn was able to make it a reality. We rode horses up to the giraffe. We played with baby lions and tigers. Dawyn showed us the most beautiful sunsets and offered us amazing happy hour beverages and appetizers while watching the rhinos graze peacefully nearby. Dawyn’s team made everything happen effortlessly. It was perfect.
- The passion. I could see and feel the passion that the owners and staff of Umndeni Game Lodge have for what they do. They love their land, their wildlife, their culture, and their community. They are passionate about sharing it with their guests.
